You can send a vehicle inquiry without authorizing a credit check, or complete the separate online financing application with its credit authorization and privacy consent.
Check liens and written terms in British Columbia
A lien is a registered interest in a vehicle that can matter when ownership changes. British Columbia’s Personal Property Registry provides searches for registered interests. For a private purchase, check for liens before paying the seller.
Keep the VIN, seller details and purchase terms together. Ask for written deposit conditions and any promised repairs, and arrange an independent inspection. A financing estimate does not verify a vehicle’s ownership or condition.
